Course Description:

This is a Seafood HACCP Alliance approved training course that focuses on training in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) which is mandated for seafood processors. You will learn how to navigate the USFDA Fish and Fisheries Hazard Guidance and be taught the principles of HACCP and how develop HACCP plans specific for each seafood product you handle or produce.

Course 1 Information:

  • Duration: 2 days (16 hours) in person
  • Date(s): October 7-8, 2026
  • Time: Day 1-2, 8:00 AM – 5:00PM (30 mins lunch with a couple breaks)
  • Location: Stavis Seafoods – 1 Seafood Wy, Boston, MA 02210
  • Cost: $550 per attendee

Course 2 Information:

  • Type: Seafood HACCP Alliance approved training course
  • Duration: 2 days (16 hours) in person
  • Date(s): April 29-30, 2026
  • Time: Day 1-2, 8:00 AM – 5:00PM (30 mins lunch with a couple breaks)
  • Location: Martha’s VineyardOak Bluffs Town Hall, 56 School St, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557
  • Cost: $550 per attendee

Course Includes:

  • Coffee and Donuts in the AM
  • Lunch is provided
  • Course materials – USFDA Fish and Fisheries Hazards Guide (printed) and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Curriculum
  • Participants will receive a certificate of course completion from the Association of Food and Drug Officials/Seafood HACCP Alliance.
