Benjamin Haley
Benjamin Haley began his professional journey with an artistic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UMass Dartmouth in 2000. After years of working in computer graphics and co-owning a website and server company, he decided it was time for a new direction. He soon found himself creating signs and lettering company vehicles, work that would unexpectedly shape his career path.
In the summer of 2010, Andrew Sievers, founder of what was then Northeast Pro-Con Solutions, walked into the shop looking to have his first pest control vehicle lettered. Andrew handed Benjamin a logo and some text, asking if he could make it look good on the side of a van. Benjamin’s reply was simple: “Can I tilt your logo and let it fill the whole side?” That creative spark not only reimagined the company’s brand but also opened a new door for Benjamin. Within a few months, he accepted a position at Northeast Pro-Con Solutions, a decision that led to lettering more than two dozen company vehicles in-house over the years and, ultimately, to a new career.
By 2012, Benjamin had transitioned from design into food safety and compliance consulting, in 2022 he became a proud part-owner and General Manager of profishant, inc. (formally Northeast Pro-Con). Drawing from years of hands-on experience in seafood processing, he understands the challenges facilities face in balancing efficiency with strict regulatory requirements. To strengthen his expertise, he pursued specialized training in HACCP, PCQI, OSHA, and GFSI systems, transforming his practical background into a strong consulting practice.
At profishant, Benjamin partners with food processors, distributors, and seafood companies to enhance operations and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and ethical practices. Known for his hands-on approach and creative problem-solving, he guides clients through audits, training programs, and certifications with clarity and confidence. Beyond compliance, he remains passionate about building community connections, developing innovative training tools, and promoting responsible recruitment practices throughout the industry.
Outside of his professional life, Benjamin is happiest spending time with his family and enjoying the simple things. Whether he’s cooking a big meal from scratch, tackling a home project, or finding a momnet to relax in the pool, he values balance and creativity in everyday life. For Benjamin, success isn’t just about career milestones but also about building lasting memories, laughing often, and making the most of life’s small joys.
